Who is doing the courses?
Our instructors are not just anyone – we are talking about professionals who really know their trade and have worked in swimming pools for several years! All of our instructors are at least educated through Bad, Park og Idrett, and have solid experience from both swimming pools and emergency response. We hold courses on request – whether it is a lifesaving course, lifesaving test or first aid course.
Our instructors are also certified to hold Norwegian Basic First Aid courses, DHLR courses (cardiopulmonary resuscitation with defibrillators), and lifesaving and emergency response courses in swimming pools (National Certification as a lifeguard) – all according to standards from the Norwegian Resuscitation Council, BPI and the Norwegian First Aid Council.
In other words, you are in the safest hands!
Annual lifesaving exam for teachers, kindergarten employees and others responsible for children/youth/groups
With us, you can do the lifesaving test at various depths between: 1.6 m, and a full 3.9 m. You must take the test at at least the same depth as the pool you will be working or responsible for on an annual basis – that's a requirement we don't joke with.
You must have taken a lifesaving course within the last 12 months to be able to take the lifesaving exam.
The test is conducted with clothes and without goggles, just like in a real situation, and the test takes about 60 minutes.
The test is adapted to guidelines given by the Norwegian Directorate of Education in circulars and the competency objectives in schools and for general national lifesaving tests.
A minimum of 4 registered participants is required for the test to take place.
Price: NOK 500 per person.
4-hour lifesaving course
The course lasts four hours – two hours of theory and two hours of practice in the pool. We combine professional training and physical practice with real cases and situations that can arise in everyday life. Here you get to work both practically and reflect on how you yourself would act in your own workplace.
Participants have the opportunity to share experiences and discuss different solutions – because this is not just about remembering theory, but being able to use it in real-world situations.
The course is a professional minimum for those who will be responsible for groups in pools – for example, from schools, kindergartens, or associations. It provides important knowledge and safety, but please note: This is not a course that gives approval as a public lifeguard.
We conclude the course with a lifesaving test. Please note that the test must be taken at least to the depth of the pool you will operate in. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. The test is done with clothes and without swimming goggles. Participants must be able to dive, swim 200 m, and return to shore.
A minimum of 4 registered participants is required for the test to take place.
Price: 1500,- per person
DHLR course (CPR and AED course)
This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about life-saving first aid and the use of defibrillators (DHRs). Knowing first aid is not just about theory - it's about being ready when it really matters. With good training, you will have the confidence needed to take responsibility in a critical situation.
We recommend annual courses for those of you who have a central role - this way you maintain your competence and are always up to date with the latest in lifesaving and first aid.
Whether you are a teacher, trainer, kindergarten employee or just a responsible soul – this course gives you the tools you need to make a difference.
A minimum of 4 registered participants is required for the test to take place.
Price: 1000,- per person.
